The Eglinton project is the development of some 600 hectares of land 50km north of Perth. It includes the development of a rail based town centre, several primary and high schools and an approved marina. Within the project landholding the first new community – Amberton has commenced development and the extension of the Yanchep Rail Extension is well underway. When completed Eglinton will have a population of around 15,000 residents. A detailed activity centre plan to guide future development of the Eglinton Town Centre has recently been approved. Project briefs are being developed for the next phases of development.
